Lovely place with great service but the food was a bit of a let down.
We ordered the Cheesy Garlic Bread, the Smoky Bacon and Chicken Pasta the BBQ platter, a steak sandwich and Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert.
Apart from the pasta dish and sticky toffee pudding, the rest of the food wasn't great with my steak sandwich looking like it had been just reheated.
The staff were very attentive and accommodating but the food was definitely not award winning!

Ones of the locals recommended this restaurant while I was in Enniscorthy. Very cosy establishment. Polite staff. I ordered the soup of the day and the chicken stir fry. For my pallet the chicken stir was a bit to sweet. But that would not stop me coming back again. Reasonable prices.

This place was AMAZING!! Madara helped my group set up a special pre wedding celebration!! We communicated for weeks and set up a very special experience. When we arrived, we were met by her and a fantastic server named Darsy. They took such good care of us. Then the food was all fantastic! The seafood chowder was delicious as was the cheesecake and all the meals my party ate. The burgers were great!! Highly recommend!! Loved this place and these people

Food was okay. I had the cod and the sauce didn't have much flavor. Cocktails were fabulous. Beautiful is building. The staff were nice but lacking. We got seated and then had to find someone to take our orders after waiting a very long time... they were all just hanging out by the bar chatting...except for the one waitress who kept looking at herself in the mirror, playing with her hair, then picking her nose 😬 Right in the middle of the restaurant. We were shocked.

Hello Anna. Thank you for your review and for highlighting your experience. Our cod is one of our most popular dishes, as it's cooked to order. Our sauces are usually very tasty but I will mention this to head chef. Our staff are normally attentive and very customer focused, so to read this review is disappointing. Every employee has attended a HACCP course and are well aware of The Bailey Bar hygiene standards. This will be brought up in our next team meeting. Normally, our staff would check with customers during or after their meal to ensure customer satisfaction as this is the time to resolve any complaints on the day. Thank you again.
